This is literally the best vehicle to learn how to drive stick in. No tachometer so you have to actually pay attention. 4-lo creeper gear so you can figure out what the clutch does.

Also, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! has all the high-def '94 Camry pics you could ever want and more. It's awesome.

I learned how to drive manual in a 1987 Toyota pickup, very similar to that one. My first vehicle, actually. It was maroon though, not beige. 4-speed, no power anything (including steering), no A/C, no fan even, after a while. Light, did that truck go though. I drove it 1100 miles from north of Omaha to Texas four times for vacation in the time I owned it. I nearly Orlove'd it in a ditch, someone shot a hole in the gas tank while I was driving by, and another wonderful someone decided to dump the entire disassembled contents of an old truck engine in the bed of the poor thing while I was at work one day. Still, it ran. It didn't survive me moving to Texas though, and I still regret leaving it behind. Such an awesome little truck.

I learned to drive stick in a 2007 Tacoma. Sure, it had a tach, but I think it was still a great vehicle to learn on because of the long throws and heavy clutch. When I moved onto manual cars I was amazed at how light the clutches were.
